Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to guardianangels.sg (the “Site”) run by Guardian Angel Pte. Licensed Employment Agency in Singapore (MOM Licence No. 24C2487) “Ltd. (“Guardian Angel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

The following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the conditions of use of the Site. You (“you” or “User”) agree that you will be governed by these Terms by visiting the Site, making an enquiry or applying for a placement via the Site. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please refrain from using the Site.

The Terms are the same for employers/households interested in hiring a foreign domestic worker (“FDW”) and helpers/applicants interested in applying for placement through us.

2. What We Do

Guardian Angel is a MOM-licensed employment agency. Depending on your needs, our services may include:

  • Presenting FDWs to the employers and arranging an interview.The process of sourcing, screening, and matching FDWs to employers.
  • Organizing the job interview of the employers and future helpers
  • Managing Work Permit applications, renewals and cancellations with MOM
  • Facilitating required insurance, security bonds, and medical checks.Booking required insurance, security bonds, and medical checks.
  • Helping with placement transfers and settling placement disagreements
  • Providing information on employment contracts and helping FDWs with welfare issues

Any information on the Site is given for informational purposes only and is not an offer of service. A separate Service Agreement/Employment Contract will be drawn up with the parties involved, to represent the specific conditions of any placement, employment or agency engagement. If there are any disagreements between that agreement and these Terms, the signed agreement prevails.

3. Your Responsibilities

By using the Site or submitting any form, whether as an employer or a helper/applicant, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into agreements
  • The information you provide, including identity, contact, employment, and household details, is true, accurate, and complete
  • You will inform us promptly if any of your information changes
  • You are entitled to submit any documents you upload, such as certificates or identification papers

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate our service if the information that you provide to us is inaccurate, incorrect, or incomplete.

4. Fees and Payment

  • Our agency fees for insurance premiums and others are listed separately in our official fee schedule and/or our Service Agreement, following the limits and requirements of the Employment Agencies Act and MOM regulations.
  • The amounts of the fees indicated on the Site are tentative and will be finalized before accepting our services.
  • Refunds are offered on the terms of your Service Agreement and subject to the applicable MOM guidelines, which include the early termination or withdrawal of a placement within a replacement or refund period.

5. No Guarantee of Results

We work hard to match employers and helpers thoughtfully and to handle applications properly, but we cannot promise:

  • That a suitable match will be found within a specific timeframe
  • That MOM or any other authority will approve a Work Permit or related application, as this is entirely at their discretion
  • The conduct, reliability, or performance of any particular helper or employer

Any employment relationship that results is between the employer and the helper directly. Guardian Angel acts as the agency facilitating that relationship, and is not itself a party to it, unless a signed Service Agreement states otherwise.

6. Using the Site Responsibly

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Use it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that breaches these Terms
  • Provide false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent information
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or other users’ data
  • Copy, scrape, or reproduce content from the Site without our written consent
  • Use the Site to harass, discriminate against, or take advantage of any helper or employer
  • Upload material that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes another party’s rights

If we reasonably believe you’ve breached these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Site.

7. Ownership of Content

All the text, graphics, logos and design of the Site are the property of Guardian Angel or are licensed and therefore protected by Singapore intellectual property laws. You can view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use but may not reproduce, distribute or make derivative works of the content of the Site without our prior written permission.

8. Links to Other Sites and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and tools (including payment providers, the WhatsApp platform or social media platforms). We don’t control these and aren’t responsible for their content or practices. You will be on your own if you interact with them and subject to whatever terms they set.

9. How We Handle Your Data

Our Privacy Policy provides information about how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data, and is a part of these Terms. By using the Site, you’re also agreeing to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

10. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
  • We won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or our services, including lost income, opportunities, or data
  • Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under Singapore law

To the extent we are liable, then our liability to you for any claim arising out of the use of the Site or our services shall not exceed the amount of the fees paid by you to us for the particular service.

11. Indemnity

You agree to reimburse Guardian Angel, its officers, employees and agents for any claims, losses, liabilities or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) they may have as a result of your failure to comply with these Terms or misuse of the Site, or supplying false or misleading information.

12. Suspending or Ending Access

Guardian Angel reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time without notice for any reason we deem fit, including, but not limited to, the breach of any of these Terms, or the use of the Site in a way that could damage or harm Guardian Angel, other users or third parties. Ending your access to the Site doesn’t affect any separate rights or obligations under a signed Service Agreement or Employment Contract.

13. Governing Law

The laws of the Republic of Singapore govern these Terms. All disputes arising from these Terms and/or from use of the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, and without prejudice to any statutory dispute resolution provisions provided under the Employment Agencies Act or through MOM regarding employment agency and FDW-related disputes.

14. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be amended periodically to include updates due to changes in our services or law. There will be updates of this page with a new “Last updated” date. If you continue to use the Site after the Terms are changed, you accept the new Terms.
